AMA Victoria Welcomes New CEO
The Victorian President of the Australian Medical Association, Dr Sam Lees, is delighted to announce that Ms Jane Stephens has officially commenced her appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Branch.
Ms Stephens comes to AMA Victoria from the Victorian Division of Engineers Australia where she was Executive Director.
Prior to her work at Engineers Australia she spent ten years in a variety of senior management roles at the University of Melbourne, most recently as Deputy Principal, Administration, with special responsibility for legal and compliance matters.
Ms Stephens has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Monash University, a Bachelor of Laws with honours from the University of Melbourne, and post-graduate qualifications in education and management.
Ms Stephens joins AMA Victoria following the departure of Dr Robyn Mason, who had served as Executive Director of AMA Victoria for the past decade, and who has now moved to the position of Secretary General of the Federal AMA. “On behalf of the AMA Victoria, I welcome Ms Stephens and look forward to working with her in the year ahead,” Dr Lees said.
