“Doctors are exhausted, frustrated and angry. Many are working under extreme pressure in our public hospitals and it is untenable, they can only hold up the system for so long. The Bracks Government must improve conditions for our doctors.
“With poor conditions and other states paying doctors 50 per cent more, it is little wonder our hospitals are struggling to retain and attract doctors.
“It is only luck that a tragedy has been avoided so far.”
