Presentation skills training for medical practitioners
2 April 2008
AMA Victoria is preparing special workshops for doctors, medical students and practice staff wanting to brush up on their presentation skills.
AMA Victoria’s Director of Training & Professional Support Vicki Bradford said the workshops, to be held in June, would form an important part of the association’s profession development program.
“Victorian doctors understand the importance of good presentation techniques, not only for conference speaking roles but also in day-to-day practice,” Ms Bradford said. “These skills are critical for keeping ahead of the game.”
Communications company Spruikit will conduct the program.
When: Wednesday 4 June and Tuesday 10 June 2008, 6.45pm to 9.45 pm
Where: AMA House, 293 Royal Pde Parkville VIC
Bookings: (03) 9280 8722 or www.amavic.com.au
