Inquiry into Workforce Participation by People with a Mental Illness
In December, AMA Victoria made its final submission for 2011 to the Family and Community Development Committee of the Victorian Parliament regarding its Inquiry into Workforce Participation by People with a Mental Illness. The submission made clear the need for more effective programs and initiatives which encourage people with a mental illness to secure and retain employment especially in light of the considerable barriers that these people can experience in finding work.
