Free Online PBS Education
Medicare Australia has now made online PBS education available for both new and experienced prescribers.
The PBS and You provides an opportunity for new prescribers to establish appropriate PBS prescribing practices via easy access to online PBS education.
PBS and You- Online PBS Education for New Prescribers
The PBS and You is a comprehensive, self paced learning tool for medical practitioner/doctors to learn about the Pharnmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) and how it works. It is designed to help doctors who are new to the PBS acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to use the PBS correctly. It can also be used by more experienced doctors to refresh or update their knowledge about the PBS.
The PBS and You is supplements face to face introductory sessions offered by Medicare Australia and is available online here.
PriMeD-Online PBS Education For Experienced Prescribers
The Primed online PBS education is designed to help experienced medical practitioners/doctors refresh their PBS knowledge. This PBS Education program is available in 15 minute bytes and includes a range of collaborative problem solving cases, interative lectures, quizzes and group activities.
