Members wishing to market their practices need to be aware of their obligations under the Trade Practices Act and the Medical Practice Act 1994.
To assist medical practitioners to understand their obligations in relation to advertising the Medical Practitioners Board of Victoria have released Advertising Guidelines.

Victorian Medical Directory is the first stop for GPs needing to refer their patients to a specialist, and is a great networking tool to keep in touch with colleagues. Listing in the VMD is free for members.
vicdoc classifieds is a free service for members to advertise positions, services, goods and advise practice moves to colleagues.
