On Saturday 18 October 2025, doctors stepped away from the everyday and joined their colleagues for a relaxed afternoon of creativity and connection. Hosted by the AMA Victoria Women in Medicine Committee, our Paint & Sip event was the perfect chance to unwind, meet others and try something new in a welcoming environment.
Hosted at Art Bar Melbourne Moorabin, attendees enjoyed a guided painting session of the artwork 'Little Hummingbird' led by Art Bar's resident artist. Women in Medicine Committee members led by Dr Akanksha Mahanjan were there on the day to welcome guests and help facilitate connections.
Whether you came with friends or on your own, this event offered a friendly, social space to meet colleagues and make new connections, and for attendees to take home their own artworks as a keepsake.
