The strength of our campaign depends on the collective commitment of members across Victoria's public hospitals. A strong turnout will demonstrate that doctors are united and prepared to stand together to achieve meaningful change.

This meeting follows a significant development in the bargaining process, with the Fair Work Commission approving ASMOF Victoria and AMA Victoria's Single Interest Employer Authorisation (SIEA) application.

The SIEA allows bargaining to proceed across participating health services as a single group and marks the beginning of the next phase of our campaign.

For too long, doctors have faced growing workforce pressures, excessive workloads, unsafe hours and remuneration that continues to fall behind comparable health professions.

We remain committed to negotiating in good faith, meaningful improvements will only be achieved if doctors are prepared to stand together and make their voices heard.

The coming weeks will be pivotal. The decisions we make now will help shape the future of our profession, our workplaces and the care we provide to patients.
