How to take advantage of the three months for free offer
Visit the join page and click 'Join now'.
Please complete your profile information, including your name, email address, phone number and address.
*Existing Student Members: If you enter an email address already in our system, you will be prompted to check your inbox. Click the Accept Invitation link in that email to log into your Member Hub. Once logged in, head to My Membership > Change Membership to complete your upgrade.
At the Membership stage of your application, please select '2027 Intern Offer' as your membership category to be eligible for the discount.
In the 'Discounts' step, select the '2027 Intern Offer' discount to apply it to your account.
Under the 'Professional Details' section, you will be asked to fill in your workplace(s), if known for next year and your average number of hours. This field is mandatory.
If you know where you will be working in 2027, please complete the section with your upcoming workplaces.
If you are unsure where you will be working next year, please select '2027 Intern Offer' from the dropdown menu.
Complete the steps to acknowledge the terms and conditions and add your payment details to complete your membership. Please note you will not be charged at this time.

Terms and Conditions
The Offer
Eligible customers receive a three (3) month complimentary membership to Australian Medical Association (Victoria) (AMA Victoria) (the "Free Period").
Promotion Period
The offer commences on 13 August 2026 and concludes at 11:59 PM AEST on 30 November 2026 ("Promotion Period").
Sign-ups received after this date will not qualify for the offer.
Eligibility Criteria
This offer is strictly available to 2027 interns.
Applicants must be residents of Victoria, Australia, and aged 18 years or older.
Limit of one (1) free promotional membership per person.
Inclusions and Exclusions
The Free Period covers standard membership access, specifically advocacy and policy on behalf of members, workplace relations assistance, career support, wellbeing resources and industry news via regular email communication.
It excludes any premium add-ons, including but not limited to paid career coaching and skills development services, paid interview skills training services, paid leadership and high-performance coaching services or paid events.
There are no upfront sign-up or administration fees.
Billing and Automatic Renewal
To activate the offer, valid payment details (credit card or direct debit) must be provided upon registration.
No fees will be charged for the standard membership during the 3-month Free Period.
Upon the expiry of the 3-month Free Period, your membership will automatically roll over into a standard monthly paid subscription. While final rates are being finalised, AMA Victoria guarantees that your post-promotion rate will not exceed $40 per month. We will provide you with written notice of the exact finalised rate at least 30 days before your first paid billing cycle, giving you the right to cancel without penalty.
Cancellation Policy
Members can cancel their membership at any time prior to March 1 2027 without penalty.
To avoid being charged for the subsequent paid period, cancellation requests must be submitted at least 30 days before the Free Period ends.
Cancellation requests must be submitted via the member hub or by contacting [email protected].
General Conditions
The 3-month Free Period is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
AMA Victoria reserves the right to verify the validity of sign-ups and to disqualify any applicant who tampers with the registration process or breaches these terms.
Standard membership rules, guidelines and privacy policies apply to all members during the Free Period.
