#239 Feedback wanted: Inquiry into COVID-19 contact tracing

The Legal and Social Issues Committee (Legislative Council) at the Parliament of Victoria is conducting an inquiry into the Victorian Government’s COVID-19 contact tracing system and testing regime.
The Committee has been asked to inquire into the capacity and fitness for purpose of the contact tracing system and testing regime and, in so doing, has requested that AMA Victoria give evidence and provide a submission. The Committee intends to assess whether there are any improvements needed so that the community can be confident about the ongoing measures being taken to deal with this virus.
If you wish to contribute towards our submission and provide feedback about –
- COVID-19 contact tracing, including:
- The implementation of the Victorian Government’s system in relation to your organisation/practice.
- Whether your organisation/practice has implemented its own contract tracing system.
- Whether and how you are working with the Victorian Government contact tracing system.
- The type, consistency and frequency of advice you received from the Victorian Government on implementing and enforcing the contact tracing system used by your organisation/practice.
- Any other related matters.
- COVID-19 testing practices, including:
- Any involvement or experience with on-site testing as part of your organisation/practice’s response to COVID-19.
- The type, consistency and frequency of advice you received from the Victorian Government concerning testing for COVID-19.
- Whether your organisation/practice has unique guidelines around COVID-19 testing in addition to government requirements.
- Any other related matters.
