AMA Victoria

Public hospital doctors, now is your chance to shape the future of your workplace. As we gear up for the next round of Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) negotiations, it is essential that your thoughts on pay, leave, and working conditions are heard.

Public consultations for the 2025 EBA draft log of claims are soon closing and we now move to the second stage of development.

Gear up — it’s feedback from AMAV members in 2025 that drives the most important claims.

How can you make a difference?

1. Participate in initial consultations

Bargaining with the State Government for the 2025 EA begins next August, and preparations are underway now. Share your input for the draft log of claims via [email protected] or by attending meetings. Watch for updates from us or your JMO/SMS groups.

SHARE YOUR FEEDBACK

We’re approaching a critical milestone in our enterprise bargaining process. The log of claims — endorsed by ASMOF Victoria — is nearly final, and formal bargaining with health services is scheduled to begin in August.

Before we proceed, this is your final opportunity to review, discuss and vote on the full log of claims that will shape the negotiations ahead.

Join one of three final member meetings for Specialists and Doctors in Training.

At these sessions, you will:

  • Hear a detailed explanation of the full draft log of claims
  • Have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback
  • Participate in a member vote to endorse the final version

These meetings are your last chance to make sure your voice is reflected in what we take to the bargaining table. Whether you have detailed comments or just a few concerns, we want to hear from you.
